Homemade Maggi / vermicelli

 

Maggi is my kids favorite.They will want it almost everyday but as we all are aware its not healthy, i have come out with a new way of making maggi.

Homemade maggi with homemade vermicelli.

Of course, I have used maggi magic masala to give it maggi s taste but it is 100 percent healthy as the vermicelli I have used in making maggi is made from whole wheat flour and sooji

Its a healthy version of maggi as the main issue nowadays is losing weight and eating healthy food. 

Healthy food is the demand of today because junk food not only makes us fat but also give us so many health problems so it is always beneficial to switch to a healthy version.

 

 INGREDIENTS

vermicelli - 250 gms
Onions -2 (chopped)
Tomatoes - 2(chopped)
Peas
Salt
Chili Powder
Maggi Masala powder
Pinch of turmeric powder


Heat oil in a pan and add Half teaspoon Cumin seeds




Add chopped onions
 


And cook the onions on low flame for 2 minutes
 



Now add the chopped tomatoes and cook them on low flame
 


Add handfull of grean peas
 



Saute the vegetables and cook them for 5-6 minutes
 


Add 1 Teaspoon Salt
 



Add a pinch of turmeric Powder
 



Add half teaspoon Red Chili powder
 


Now add half teaspoon maggi masala powder
 

 



Add 3 glasses of water and let it boil
 



When the water starts boiling , add  vermicelli

 

Cook it till the water gets absorbed(approx7-8) minutes


 



Yummy Home style maggi is ready.
It will taste just like maggi.
