Paneer flower pasanda recipe

 This is paneer pasanda.The name paneer flower pasanda is given by my kids because of the shape of paneer. paneer dishes are the must have dishes of Indian Cussine.Loved by all and appreciated by all, paneer is a very healthy treat.

 
INGREDIENTS

Oil
Cumin Seeds -   Half Teaspoon
Onions - 2 ( Cut Lengthwise)
Tomatoes - 3 Large(Cut Lengthwise)
Salt - To Taste
Garam Masala - Half Teaspoon
  Chili Powder - Half Teaspoon
Corriander Powder - 3 Teaspoon
Paneer masala or Pao Bhaji Masala  - 1 Teaspoon
Butter - 1 Teaspoon
Cream/ malai  - 1 Teaspoon
Cottage Cheese -  250 gms
 
 
 
 


How to Make Paneer Flower Pasanda


 


Heat 1 Tablespoon Oil in a kadai or non stick Pan

 



Add half teaspoon Cumin seeds.

 

 
Add the Onions



 Cook them till golden brown or translucent and then Add salt To taste 

 


 Add 3 Tspn Corriander Powder

 



Add half teaspoon Garam Masala

 


Add half Teaspoon Chili Powder and
  Add 1 Teaspoon Paneer masala or Pao Bhaji Masala
 


 Mix all the spices well and then add half teaspoon Butter

 



 Cook For another 1 Minute and Then add the tomatoes


   

Cook the tomatoes for 4-5 minutes
 



Mix them well By pressing a little with the help of a spoon




 Take the Onion Tomato paste off the flame and let it cool for 5-10 minutes.
When it gets cool completely, Make a smooth paste in the mixer

Now Heat Half Teaspoon Butter in The same Kadai


Now add the Gravy In the Kadai

 


Add half Cup water.You can increase the quantity of water accordingly
 


Let t simmer for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile Cut the cottage cheese/paneer in cubes or any shape you want.My kids like to eat in different shapes so i have cut in the shape shown below with the help of a fruit cutter

 


 After 5 Minutes add malai or cream to the paneer.I used malai so I used a tea strainer to get a smooth one





Mix it well and cook for another 2-3 minutes





Now Lets cook the paneer Pieces

   


Take a non stick pan and greece it with oil
And put the paneer pieces.When they are done from one side, invert the paneer pieces and cook them from other side as well



 




Add the Paneer to the gravy and cook for 1 more minute.
Your yummy delicacy is ready.
serve it with Roti, Paratha or naan.

This is a very yummy Paneer Dish loved by everyone at home.My kids just adore it.The taste of gravy is melt in the mouth kinds.My kids can eat it every other day.I keep changing the shapes of paneer to give it a new look.My younger son who is a fussy eater will only eat this dish because of the shapes of paneer.I maek chapatis of different shapes as well for him.You can also try that.Your kids will love you for this wonderful delicacy.
